The Care Resource Navigator Program offers services and support that Working Caregivers need so they can breathe easier. You may simply want to plan for your care or that of a loved one so that when the time comes you have options available. ECR’s financial and legal services will help you accomplish that goal. If you are faced with an immediate care giving situation, your experienced Care Navigator will conduct an assessment of your situation and navigate you through the healthcare maze so you and your loved one can be connected to the right resources. The Care Navigator will coordinate any community or in-home services.
How do I begin?
First, take a deep breath and exhale. Your Care Resource Navigator Membership Card has the Phone number for you to call. Take another deep breath and call the Navigator. You can explain the situation and set a time that works best for you to conduct an in-person assessment of your loved one’s situation.
What happens after the assessment?
You will be provided an objective, written description of the care giving required and will be provided recommendations how to satisfy those needs.
What are some examples of how you can assist me?
ECR has an extensive network of service providers that can provide resources for such basic needs such as shopping, cleaning and transportation to more skilled needs such as hands on care or assistance.
What will it cost me?
You are not charged a fee for access to any of the ECR Care Resource Navigator service providers. In fact, ECR provides an initial assessment at no cost to you or your family member. You or a loved one will be responsible for the costs a service provider charges for a particular service you choose to use. Some of the service providers discount their rates for Care Resource Navigator members.
Why is my company doing this?
Because you are valuable to them. If they take care of you, you will be better able to perform at your optimal level. As the population ages, your company recognizes the growing need for the services ECR brings.
