ECR utilizes a network of experienced service providers to meet the varied needs if its clients. Each firm selected to participate in the ECR network is carefully reviewed, must have demonstrated a high level of professionalism, and must have an excellent track record in its field.
Here is a brief description of some of the key services accessible through the ECR network:
Financial
- Long Term Care Insurance: Pool of money available to pay for your long term care expenses so you don’t have to deplete your savings. Available with employer discounts and less stringent underwriting.
Legal
- Elder Law Services: Portfolio of legal services ranging from wills, trusts and probate to Medicaid planning, guardianships and more sophisticated asset protection planning.
Care Giving
- Home Healthcare: Typically covers personal care which includes assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, mobility, etc. It also includes services for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other cognitive impairments. These services are usually provided by a certified Home Health Aide.
- Companion Care: Generally covers non-medical supportive services such as companionship, driving, shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, etc. Companion services are provided by trained professionals, but they do not have to be certified Home Health Aides.
- Geriatric Care Management: Specialists who help families who are caring for older relatives. Typical services cover Medicaid applications, links to community services and support groups, help with financial and medical issues, referrals to wide range of geriatric specialists, etc.
